Cody Wyoming Kids Make USA TODAY Sports Award Nominees

The state of Wyoming nominated two USA TODAY High School Sports Awards Nominees.

According to a press release, the awards nominees are for the best in the state of high school sports in the United States.

In every state of the Union, the state can pick just one male student and one female student-athlete.

Cody, Wyoming Student High School this year has two special athletes, the best of the best, that were nominated for the USA TODAY Sports Award.

Both students attend the Cody High School and are Nic Talich, who is an excellent football player who has the talent to be professional some day, if that is what he chooses.

Filly Swimmer Tara Joyce is the other excellent sports student. Tara Joyce also has the talent to go professional, if she chooses to go down that path some day.

All the 50-state national honorees are considered the best of the best in high school sports and are at the very top of their game, as far as athletic performers go.

The National Awards ceremony will be on August 5, 2021 at six pm.
