Snow And More Snow On Tap For Wyoming

Summer has skipped fall, and now winter has arrived officially. A cold weather front has moved into Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, North and South Dakota. The weather will cause travel difficulties and in some areas, because of the amount of snowfall that is expected to fall, travel may become impossible in various areas of BigHorn Basin areas.

Snow will fall at a rapid rate all day Tuesday and into the night continuing Wednesday morning. The temps will fall and the cold conditions will create slick roads and blowing snow in the South and east of the Rockies. Blizzard conditions may exist all over Wyoming.

Wyoming’s First Winter Snow Storm hits hard

Snow falls estimated at 12 inches / one foot. The National Weather Service out of Riverton, Wyoming has already issued a winter storm warning for most areas of the Bighorn Basin. This weather pattern that has entered Wyoming is part of a large winter storm that is expected to dump multiple feet of snow in Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado. According to weather experts, this is the year 2021’s fist significant weather winter storm. White out conditions expected on most roads in Wyoming.

Snow will hit hard Cody, Powell, Ralston, Deaver, Frannie, Lovell and Buffalo Wyoming as they are at higher elevations.
