Helena Police Department News

0712hrs, officers were dispatched to the area of Ewing and Broadway for a theft.  No suspects or leads.

0810hrs, officers were dispatched to the 3100 Block of Sanders for a welfare check.  An adult male was placed into protective custody.

0924hrs,  Officers and medical were dispatched to the 500 Block of Last Chance Gulch in reference to an unresponsive male.  When officers arrived on scene they delivered NARCAN (an overdose medication) to the male.  Moments later the male woke up and ultimately was transported to the ER via ambulance.

1152hrs, officers were dispatched to I15 and mile marker 192 for a welfare check.  Investigation led to an adult woman being placed into protective custody. 

1318hrs, officers were dispatched to the 600 Block of N. Montana for a theft.  An adult male was cited and released for theft. 

1413hrs, officers were dispatched to the 100 Block of Ewing in reference to a welfare check.  An adult female was placed into protective custody. 

1552hrs, officers responded to the 300 Block of Lawrence for a theft.  Under investigation.

 The Helena Police Department responded to 76 calls for service.  Of those calls, they responded to 5 Crash, 11 Animal calls, 2 disorderly/disturbance calls, 4 Suspicious Circumstance calls, 9 Theft calls, 2 Trespassing Complaints, 7 welfare checks and conducted 10 traffic stops.
