Monkey Pox Has Finally Arrived In The State Of Wyoming First Case in Laramie County Identified

Monkey Pox has arrived, First, it was the COVID; now, Monkey Pox, according to the Wyoming Department Of Health, a male has been identified in Laramie County who has contracted the Monkey Pox.

Currently, Health officials are trying to determine who the male individual has been in contact with as the risk of contracting monkeypox is at its highest risk within the last week.

Monkeypox is described as a rash, fever, chills, headache, muscle aches, tiredness, and painful and unpleasant sores.

  • Men who have sex with men and who have had multiple or anonymous sexual partners in the last year
  • Partners of men who have sex with men who have had multiple or anonymous sexual partners in the last year
  • Transgender and nonbinary persons assigned male at birth who have sex with multiple or anonymous sexual partners who are male or male assigned at delivery within the past year
  • Sex workers (of any sex)
