This article is about the word SEX. A woman named Tasha Skinner filed a federal lawsuit against the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association, including Dr. Charles Preston and Robert Pickering as the defendants.
It is becoming apparent that anything to do with the words “Buffalo Bill” attached to it, has nothing but issues.
The previous article was about a Pedophile, but this article is about SEX.
According to records, the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association employed 88 individuals, of which 44 of those individuals were females at the time that Plaintiff, Taska Skinner, was employed by the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association.
Tasha Skinner worked as an employee at the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association from about March 1997 to January 14, 2005. Skinner was the Curatorial Assistant and was being paid a very small amount of money that being only $24,989.00, from June 4, 2002, to about November 8, 2005, in the Draper Museum of the Natural History “Draper” is a branch of the curatorial department in the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association.
The alleged bad actors in this article are Dr. Chuck Preston, who was at the time, is the curator of the Draper and also is the chief curator of the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association, and was the direct supervisor of Tasha Skinner who is claiming that Dr. Chuck Preston unlawfully, sexually harassed her and when she fought back Preston then retaliated. One of the ways he retaliated against her was to have her unlawfully try to fire her or make her quit, according to Tasha Skinner, because she was repulsed by the sexual harassment that he directed towards her.
But this is not the only female Dr. Chuck Preston would sexually harass, according to Skinner. Skinner observed multiple incidents where other female employees were also subjected to sexual advancements and sexual intimidation. Preston is accused of using sexually crude demeaning profanity and sexually abusive conduct throughout Skinner’s employment.
Tasha Skinner was not the only female that Dr. Chuck Preston the curator of the Draper and the Chief Curator of the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association. In fact, several other names have popped up. Their names are Sarah Boehme and Emma Hanson, who are two other curators of the museum, of which Dr. Chuck Preston was also the supervisor of them.
Dr. Chuck Preston would always refer to the females as “BITCHES” “EVIL,” “MANIPULATIVE,” and “PASSIVE/AGRESSIVE BITCHES”
Bob Pickering, who was the Deputy Director of Collections and Education, was Dr. Chuck Preston’s supervisor. Bob Pickering and Dr. Chuck Preston would both call the females “SLUTS.”
So now we have the words “SLUTS”, “BITCHES”, PASSIVE/AGRESSIVE BITCHES”. and “EVIL,” and “MANIPULATIVE.” as common conversation and words being used against female employees as if it was common.
What is interesting is that Bob Pickering and Dr. Chuck Preston never called men “SLUTS”, “BITCHES” or PASSIVE/AGRESSIVE BITCHES.” one wonders why?
To pick up the attack on the females, Dr. Chuck Preston purposefully created a hostile work environment in order to make it very difficult for the females to function normally at their place of employment. This was a direct attack, according to the females listed above.
This is called a hostile work environment.
Then one day, Tasha Skinner got some really bad news, and on June 14th, 2004, Skinner underwent a double Mastectomy. Before this tragic health incident took place, Skinner notified properly, superiors, various management, and others that she needed to take FMLA leave and that she was in the middle of a major health crisis.
It is called CANCER!
Skinner underwent major surgery and dreaded chemotherapy that made her very, very sick. Anyone who has had cancer knows that chemotherapy makes you want to die because it makes you very very, sick.
Dr. Chuck Preston did not give a DAMN. Instead, he attacked Tasha Skinner by making a personal visit to her home and telling her that if she did not come back to work regardless of her FMLA medical Health leave. Preston told a very sick Skinner that her work was not getting done and that there was no need for her to return to work as she was FIRED!
Tasha Skinner was devastated now she not only was sick with cancer, and had a Major DOUBLE Mastectomy, but now, she had all the emotional drain of losing her job and or the threat of losing her job. Dr. Chuck Preston was ruthless in attacking Skinner when she was at the lowest point in her life.
The Associate Director at the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association learned of the ruthless attack that Dr. Chuck Preston initiated and carried out on Tasha Skinner. Wally “Eugene” Reber was horrified. Reber was the second in command and knew that Dr. Chuck Preston had just interfered with the medical recovery of a very sick woman. Reber reached out to Tasha Skinner and told her that Dr. Preston should not have done what he did and that Dr. Preston had NO LEGAL AUTHORITY to interfere with Skinner’s FMLA RIGHTS or her medical recovery. He was adamant about stopping Dr. Chuck Preston from engaging in this type of illegal activity.
Dr. Chuck Preston continued the harassment and pressure by calling Tasha Skinner every week, putting pressure on Skinner’s medical recovery time ordered by the Doctors. He made it very clear that because she was home recovering from Chemotherapy and the double Masactomey, Skinner was threatened with losing her job.
On August 25th, 2004, Dr. Chuck Preston attacked Skinner again, but this time he told her that he was going to take half of her pay and give it to someone else because she was in recovery, and regardless of the FMLA Medical leave, he just did not give a damn according, to Skinner.
Dr. Chuck Preston made every attempt to aggravate the suffering and recovery time through his actions against Skinner. He was intent on removing her permanently. Remember, she was a “SLUT”, or “BITCH,” and those people have no rights to have FMLA medical leave.
This story just gets worse.
On August 27, 2004, Skinner finally reported the illegal actions of Dr. Chuck Preston. She wanted Chuck Preston to cease and desist, calling her personal home daily in an attempt to harass her and interfere with her FMLA medical leave and recovery.
Of course, Preston found out that he was reported on, and therefore he attacked Skinner yet again. This time he was angry that his actions had come to light to his boss. He criticized her for reporting his actions and threatened Skinner that she WOULD lose her job, according to Skinner.
Now Skinner’s recovery took a turn for the worse; she now, due to all of the stress inducement caused by Dr. Chuck Preston, Skinner’s body now came down with Pneumonia which delayed her recovery immensely.
Dr. Chuck Preston continued the attack on Taska Skinner. Now on October 7, 2004, Preston sent SKinner a “TO DO List.” In that list, Preston demanded that SKinner, however in recovery and sick, perform duties that were outside of her normal job description, and Preston directly, on purpose, weighed the “TO DO LIST” with duties that would have been very injurious to the health and welfare of Tasha Skinner. He knew she was sick, He knew she was in medical recovery, but Preston did not give DAMN!
Preston indicated to Skinner that he was doing this because she told on him and that he was going to further punish her and stop her from exercising her FMLA leave rights.
October 14, 2004, Dr. Chuck Preston attacked Skinner again. Remember that he earlier took half of her pay away? Well, now he took all of her pay away because “this was not working out for him.” Skinner reported his very, very bad behavior, and that made him angry. Preston was now angry at the “SLUT” “BITCH.” Yet Preston himself was acting like an alleged “BASTARD” regarding his actions. Call a spade a spade! Yet it must be ok for Preston to call his female employees, Sluts, and Bitches.
This type of behavior is unacceptable regardless of whatever his baseless excuse was or is. According to Skinner, now all management of BBMA refused to support her and told her that she would be punished if she ever reported her supervisor’s actions ever again.
Tasha Skinner was now alienated by her co-workers as Preston put pressure on them as well to help him punish Skinner. She was now called a “Persona non grata” everywhere at the BBMA.
On January 3, 2005, Skinner returned to work. She was immediately informed that she would be isolated and shunned by all management and that she needed to just leave.
Tasha Skinner was treated so badly that she resigned from what little employment she had left on January 14, 2005.
