Stefanie Stalheim Minot North Dakota’s New City Attorney

Stefanie Stalheim was appointed as the new City Attorney for the City of Minot on the Nov. 7 City Council meeting.

“I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve our community as City Attorney,” Stalheim said.
“I look forward to expanding the working relationships established since I began at the City seven years ago.”

Stalheim was born and raised in Mohall and graduated from Mohall High School. She graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2007 with communications and political science degrees and from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2010. She has been in the City of Minot’s Assistant City Attorney since 2015.

Stalheim was one of three finalists for the position. She succeeds Kelly Hendershot, who is now an Assistant Professor at Minot State University.
