The Minot Fire Department was dispatched to two structure fires on Thursday, May
16, starting at 4:36 am.
Firefighters arrived to 2101 3rd St NW Lot #212 for reports of a mobile home on fire
and immediately began to extinguish the fire. The mobile home had no occupants in
the unit.
Crews from all five fire stations responded to the fire. At approximately 5:48 a.m.,
a structure fire was reported at 527 7th St. NE.
The Station 4 crew quickly made its way to the newly reported fire location. Upon
arrival, crew members were told the house was unoccupied. They discovered heavy
smoke coming from the front door/entry way, and immediately shifted efforts to
extinguishing the fire.
No injuries were reported in either structure fire; both fires remain under
investigation
