Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Cahuvin, who murdered George Floyd back in May of 2020, is now himself facing justice from the inmate population in an Arizona prison where he is residing.
Federal inmate John Turscak stabbed the former Minneapolis police officer Derek Cahuvin 22 times with a makeshift shank knife at the Arizona Federal prison in Tucson last November.
Then Officer, Derek Chauvin sparked a nationwide protest called Black Lives Matter.
Former officer Chauvin was sent to the Tucson Federal prison to serve his simultaneous sentences for violations of George Floyd’s civil rights and a second-degree murder charge.
Not long ago, the Supreme Court had rejected Chauvin’s appeal of his murder conviction.
According to court records, Turscak was contemplating killing the former Minneapolis police officer and decided to stab him on Black Friday, because of the Black Lives Matter movement in an attempt to serve final justice to the former cop, Derek Chauvin.
Turscak stated he was thinking about hurting Chauvin for several months prior to the stabbing incident.
