Early Morning pedestrian in Billings Killed While sitting on side of road near 6th Street West and Central Ave

A 47-year-old male was struck by a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. According to a media posting by Billings Police Sgt Kodi Kaiser, the incident happened just minutes before 3:00 a.m. a medical crew arrived just after 3:00 A.M.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the pedestrian was sitting on the side of the road when a vehicle veered off-course and hit him. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been released pending notification of family members.
