Wyoming Highway Patrol Tickets Trucker Driving 99 Miles Per Hour On Icy Roads

Actual Photo taken by the Wyoming Highway Patrol

A Trooper on patrol east of Evanston on I-80 pulled over a Commercial Motor Vehicle for driving 99 MPH in a 75 MPH zone.

The area where the traffic stop occurred is known to many as “The Sisters” and is notorious for slick conditions during winter weather. The driver received a $475 citation.

WHP would like to remind drivers of all vehicles to obey the speed limit and never drive faster than conditions allow
