Park County Residents Will Start Voting Early

0

This Friday, any Park County residents can go to the Courthouse in Cody do go vote early. According to the Elections Office, the office will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. until November 7, 2022.

Thanks to the Wyoming Park County Republican Men’s club, and many in public, if a person wants to go and vote, they will have to show a Wyoming Drivers license or other government-accepted official Identification. This is designed to keep fraudulent voting from the voting booths. This will make it very hard for Democrats to try and cheat in the voting booths as they did back in 2020 on a national scale.

For absentee voters, they may also start voting now. According to the Elections Office, they expect that about 2,300 absentee ballots will be sent out for residents who have requested an Absentee ballot or those who are overseas.

Ballots are expected to increase as the political climate has become TOXIC; due to Democrat Socialist agendas, Republicans are determined to take back local, county, state, and even national races to preserve America from the Democrat Socialist Agendas to destroy America at every level. Park County races are no different than the State and National races.

Colleen Renner expects a strong voter turnout as Park County residents will exercise their voting rights probably more than ever due to what is happening in the Democrat/Republican races.

Cheyenne Police Need Public’s Help Making Identification Of Suspects

According to the Cheyenne Police Department, two male suspects are wanted for questioning regarding a dumpster fire that happened behind Mayor Patrick Collins’ Bicycle shop on about September 4, 2022. At first, police tried to make an identification of the suspects but have now asked for the public’s help.

The Cheyenne police repeated pictures and a video shot of the suspects taking delineators from a parking lot of the Bicycle Station located at 2634 Dell Range and then carrying the items, dumping them into a dumpster that was located behind the building, where they ignited the fire in the dumpster.

One Of Joe Biden and Kamala’s Illegal Aliens, Octavio Gonzalez-Garcia Kills Deputy Detention Officer In a Fatal Hit and Run

0

In a Face Book posting:
Weld County Sheriff’s Office

Weld County Sheriff’s Office deputy killed in hit-and-run crash with Illegal Alien.

A message from Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams:

It is with a heavy heart I announce today that the victim of yesterday’s fatal hit-and-run crash north of Greeley was Weld County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Alexis Hein-Nutz.

Alexis was hired in November 2018 and assigned to the Weld County Jail where she served as a detentions deputy. She joined our ranks at the age of 21 and was one week away from celebrating her 25th birthday.

Alexis was born in Bismarck, N.D. It was a childhood dream to someday serve others as a peace officer. In December 2018, one month after graduating from our jail academy, Alexis posted this announcement to her Facebook profile:

“After many years of dreaming of being in law enforcement, I can finally say I am officially following my dreams. This is only the first stepping-stone to a brighter future. Here is to a better life and doing what I was meant to do.”

Alexis was a hard worker, a caring deputy and a positive force for our agency. I share in my deputies’ grief and in their anger over her senseless and tragic passing. But we are a family, and we will get through this painful event together.

The Colorado State Patrol is leading the investigation into the circumstances of yesterday’s crash with the assistance of the Weld County Sheriff’s Office. As of early this afternoon, I can confirm the driver of the vehicle is known as Octavio Gonzalez-Garcia.

Gonzalez-Garcia is 37 or 38 years old and residing in this country illegally, as evidenced by a falsified Green Card and a fake Social Security Card recovered from his vehicle. Evidence collected last night shows Gonzalez-Garcia was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Alexis was riding her motorcycle to work when the crash occurred. Gonzalez-Garcia made no attempt to provide Alexis aid despite her obvious injuries. Instead, he ran away like a coward and hid in a nearby cornfield.

Despite the tireless efforts of your deputies, including three K9 handlers and a drone pilot, and the assistance of the Colorado State Patrol, Eaton Fire, the Greeley Police Department and the Denver Police Department, which sent its helicopter Air 1 to assist with the search, Gonzalez-Garcia avoided capture.

We ask the public to join us in celebrating Alexis’ life, but we also ask for your help. Gonzalez-Garcia is on the run, and we need your information to catch him.

We’re asking residents in the Colo. 392 corridor, from the site of the crash at AA Street and Weld County Road 37 west to Weld Road 29 and north to Weld Road 72, to check your security cameras for footage of any suspicious people between the hours of 5:30 p.m. Sunday and 2 a.m. this morning.

Gonzalez-Garcia is described as a slightly heavy-set Latino man, in his 40s and standing about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.

Anyone with any information about this investigation is urged to call Colorado State Patrol investigators at (303) 239-4501. Reference case # 3A221639. You can remain anonymous.

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is accepting donations to help assist the family through our 501c3. The public can make a tax-deductible donation to the Weld County Sheriff’s Office Posse and note Deputy Alexis Hein-Nutz in the memo.

Checks can be sent or dropped off at Weld County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters, 1950 O St., Greeley, CO 80631. Be sure to include your name, address and phone number to receive a tax letter.

We are confident we will catch Gonzalez-Garcia with your help. For now, we ask the public to give the Hein-Nutz family and our deputies space to grieve.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is asked to call the Weld County Sheriff’s Office at (970) 356-4015 or Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward.

Biden is so STUPID he does not know the difference between “Semi-Fascism” and “full Fascism”

0

President Biden, other Democrats and their media allies say Republicans have embraced “semi-fascism,” threatening “our very democracy” and trying “to overthrow the government,” in a “battle for the soul of our nation.” Do these folks even know what “fascism” means? Have they looked in a mirror, or at their own history and agenda?

In a nutshell, fascism is an intolerant system under which an authoritarian government doesn’t own businesses outright, but dictates to or colludes with them to redistribute wealth and property, control access to information, and determine what companies and people can make, do, sell and say – employing laws, intimidation, police powers and violence to advance their agenda.

What we are witnessing suggests that Democrat officials have gone way beyond “semi” and are getting perilously close to full-fascism. At the very least, we’re looking at transference, the psychopathological term for attributing your own bad actions and motives to others.

Republicans may go half-way, but Biden, Democrats, Deep State go all-out to control our lives

Paul Driessen

President Biden claims millions of Republican voters have embraced “semi-fascism.” They “threaten not just our personal rights and economic security, but our very democracy, the very foundation of our republic,” in a “battle for the soul of our nation.”

This is hardly the “moderate” way to “unite” America. But Mr. Biden isn’t alone. Democratic National Committee Chairman Jaime Harrison says the Republican Party has “become a party of fascism and fear.” Congressman Eric Swalwell (D-CA) rants that Republican “fascists” are trying “to overthrow the government.” Their media allies echo and amplify the accusations.

Do they know what “fascism” means? Have they looked in a mirror, or at their own history and agenda?

Merriam-Webster defines fascism as “centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.”

A more complete definition: An extreme, intolerant system under which an authoritarian government doesn’t own businesses outright, but dictates to or colludes with them to redistribute wealth and property, control access to information, and determine what companies and people can make, do, sell and say – employing laws, intimidation, police powers and violence to advance their agenda.

That certainly seems to describe the current White House, Executive Branch, Democrat Congress, and woke corporations and media. It recalls the old saw that Republicans want to control what you do in your bedroom, but Democrats want to control everything you do outside your bedroom.

Examples are too voluminous to list. But few actions in American history epitomize police state autocracy better than armed FBI agents raiding President 45 Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home. The message is unmistakable: If we can do this to a former president, imagine what we can do to you little people if you protest at the US Capitol or school board meetings, question Democrat election victories, or even support organizations on our Disapproved list. Be very careful what you say or do.

New Jersey mom learned that recently when armed FBI agents showed up at her home, after someone anonymously and falsely said she was at the Capitol on January 6. And you thought Lois Lerner had weaponized government agencies.

Almost as shocking, all this and the House Jan 6 Star Chamber proceedings followed years of black-shirted Antifa thugs burning, looting and bludgeoning their way through cities, to voice their displeasure over the 2016 presidential election, police brutality and other grievances. Few were ever arrested, much less prosecuted, and many were bailed out by sympathizers like then-Senator Kamala Harris.

Thought control comes through what is taught in our schools, kindergarten through graduate and law school, and via censorship, in blatant violation of our First Amendment rights. Schools trumpet diversity in all arenas, except political parties, beliefs and speech, where diversity is simply not tolerated.

A lawsuit by Louisiana and Missouri Attorneys General and the New Civil Liberties Alliance has unearthed Facebook, Twitter, Meta and YouTube emails revealing that at least 32 federal officials in multiple federal agencies secretly colluded with the social media giants on ways to “moderate” content on their platforms, by illegally and systematically suppressing “misinformation,” unapproved thinking and inconvenient evidence about Covid, vaccinations, ivermectin, climate change and other key issues.

Chief Medical Advisor Anthony Fauci and former Press Secretary Jen Psaki have been deeply involved in this blatant censorship. So have many other top officials at the White House, HHS, FDA, CDC, Census Bureau, State and Treasury Departments, and other agencies, including the FBI, the lawsuit states.

Bloomberg News and other media have worked behind the scenes with House of Representatives Democrats in advance of hearings intended to help federal officials and Facebook “fact check,” intimidate and cancel experts who question claims that climate change poses an “existential threat” to humanity and planet. News and social media organizations have also assisted House Democrats with inquisitions into oil companies’ alleged failure to “live up to” their climate pledges by slashing oil production, while simultaneously failing to increase oil production to reduce Biden-policy-driven gasoline prices.

Free speech, access to all relevant information, and open, robust debate are the foundation of democracy, wise public policies, and our ability to make informed decisions about our health, welfare and voting options. But this collusion and censorship are destroying these principles. These actions should be punishable by fines, firings, prison terms and lost benefits for all government conspirators.

Facebook even blocked House Republican criticism of President Biden’s student loan forgiveness scheme. Their comment “If you take out a loan, you pay it back. Period” was banned by algorithms and multiple human managers as a “violation of community standards” – before it was finally allowed.

In the name of averting an “imminent manmade climate crisis,” the Biden Administration is deliberately locking this nation’s abundant, reliable, affordable fossil fuel energy in the ground. As those actions send prices ever higher, non-ruling classes are told, Set your thermostats to a comfortable, planet-friendly 80 degrees F in summer, and 65 degrees in winter.

Drive no more than 5,000 miles a year. Vacation no more than once every three years. Ditch your gasoline-fueled car, but don’t charge your $60,000 electric vehicle, because you might cause a blackout on grids increasingly reliant on weather-dependent wind and solar power.

This is not just a dictatorial erosion of our personal rights and living standards. People die from health conditions they would otherwise survive, amid freezing winters when they can’t heat their homes properly, and during summer heat waves when they can’t cool their homes sufficiently. Indeed, the death toll just from government COVID actions, inactions and censorship is staggeringly high.

To impose more of their extreme agendas, Deep State bureaucrats are again engaging in collusive sue-and-settle lawsuits. Government agencies invite “progressive” groups to sue them in friendly courts, in pretend-disagreements over regulations that all parties want implemented. They then “settle” their “disputes” – and the rules become binding. Third parties impacted by the decisions never get to contest the collusion, present evidence, or even be notified that a lawsuit has been filed, until it’s too late. It’s the Obama years on steroids. Meanwhile:

Jane’s Revenge and other criminals have picked up where Antifa left off. They’ve fire-bombed 50+ pregnancy counseling centers, howled outside Supreme Court justices’ homes, and attempted to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh, emulating a Bernie Sanders volunteer who tried to murder multiple Republican congressmen at a 2017 baseball practice.

With help from drug cartels, illegal immigrants keep pouring across America’s wide-open southern borders. When 50 were flown from Florida to wealthy Martha’s Vineyard, locals shipped them off to a military base the very next day. Many wondered why Vineyard residents, celebrities and other Democrats couldn’t open their sanctuary city hearts, homes and wallets – rather than just their mouths.

Amid all this, instead of bringing real miscreants to justice, the FBI obsesses with finding “white supremacist terrorism threats” at school board meetings and maybe under beds. “The demand for White supremacy vastly outstrips the supply,” quipped a still non-politicized agent.

And don’t forget, this Democrat Party was also the party of the Confederacy, KKK, literacy tests, barred schoolhouse doors and lynchings. You could call it a prior personification of fascism – and transference, the psychopathological term for attributing your own bad actions and motives to others.

All this may not amount to full-fascism, but it’s getting perilously close, and already it’s far worse than semi. Is this the path you want for America? If not, support your candidates financially now, if you can – and make your voice heard loud and clear before or on November 8.

The stakes are incredibly high – on these matters, court packing, abolishing the filibuster, and much more.

Cheyenne Mayor Patrick Collins, Mayor’s Minute

Mayor Patrick Collins headshot

CHEYENNE –I love it when we have job openings and hire folks from inside the city to take the positions.  This happened recently with the departure of our beloved street & alley director, Randy Hickman. Bill Gonzales has been with the department for more than 40 years and is excited to take on the responsibility; our team is in good hands. I appreciate our Public Works director for promoting in-house when the best candidate already works for us.

Lately, we have been studying outside water and sewer user agreements. These agreements would send city water and or sewer services to county developments. Making a good decision on these agreements requires knowledge, where the folks who move to rural residential areas come into play. Tom Bass and Linda Weppner have been helping me understand these complicated transactions. We are planning on using the University of Wyoming Center for Economic Analysis to help us understand the benefits and costs of outside water and sewer user agreements. We hope to have the answers at the end of the first quarter of 2023.

Friday night was busy for your mayor. First, I attended the state convention of the Red Hat Society.  I learned about the Red Hat Society when I came home and found my mom ready to go out in a goofy red hat and purple dress. She explained how the Society members get together for lunch and just have fun. The red hat and purple dress come from a poem by Jenny Joseph. The idea was to grow old in a playful manner and that is exactly what the ladies I met do. It was a blast to meet them.

For my second event of the evening, I went to the Civic Center to greet the crowd and read a proclamation declaring September 15th through October 15th Hispanic Heritage month. The highlight for me was Mariachi Calor, a mariachi band from New Mexico who brought this colorful music for the first time ever to our Civic Center. It was beautiful, and I wish I could have understood the words of the amazing music. Saturday, the rainy weather dampened the second day of the event, but not the spirit. My thanks to the team that put this event on. I can’t wait for next year.

Monday, we took the crew from the mayor’s office to Culver’s for lunch. A young, 16-year-old employee was killed in a car accident and three of his passengers were hurt. Culver’s donated part of the proceeds to their employee’s family and those that were injured. We wanted to help.  The cod was great as usual, and the cause was worthy.

Growing and diversifying our economy is one of my goals. I met with Jimmy Bailey who is a principal with T5 Data Centers to learn about their goal of building a new center in Cheyenne. It was interesting to again learn how Cheyenne is the perfect place to site a data center. Our weather, altitude, lack of humidity, availability of fiber trunklines, and power are creating a real data center industry in Cheyenne. I know Black Hills Energy feels the strain created by the demand for electricity, and I am confident they will work to meet the needs.

I shared with you the large class we have this year Mayor’s Youth Council. When they did the interviews, the students were just so good, that they took more than normal. Our Municipal Judge, Ronn Jeffrey swore the class in inside our council chambers. I appreciated his words shared with the class and his taking time to be with the class. I am psyched by this class and our upcoming time together this school year.

Charles Bloom is our planning department director. He has a great team that has worked hard on creating our Urban Renewal Authority, making changes to our Uniform Development Code to allow for more housing, and has worked proactively to make Cheyenne a better place to live, work and play. We met to discuss our current challenges including requests from our Housing Task Force, industrial siting act, day-cares, tiny homes, tree lawns, landscaping, development, and expectations from our building community. I truly appreciate our planning team and look forward to the next initiatives they will bring to the governing body.

Eric Fountain is our compliance director. His responsibilities include the building department, IT, HR, risk, and animal control. It is a challenging department, but he handles it with a smile on his face and a can-do attitude. We met and spent most of our time talking about our building department as our chief building official left at the beginning of the month. It takes time to review operations and plan the way to a better future. From my recent meetings with the building community, we discussed what they viewed as good customer service, timelines for inspections and building permits, staffing levels, and relationships between our team and the industry.  Cheyenne builders are doing a great job of building homes and industry and have done so for decades. Our team understands how important the industry is and is working to make sure they thrive. It is also important to remember how valuable our building department team is to the success of the industry.

The Wyoming Association of Municipalities represents the cities and towns of Wyoming. It is our lobbying group for the state. The state is broken up into regions, and we are part of Region 1. We met this week to get updates on interim legislation that could affect cities. One big update we have talked about is liquor laws. Another big item of discussion was the upcoming vote on Constitutional Amendment A, this November. The Wyoming Constitution allows the state to invest state funds in equities such as the stock of corporations but does not allow the funds of counties, cities, and other political subdivisions to be invested in equities. My hope would be we would use the expertise of the investment team from the State Treasurer’s Office, to help us invest our money as they do our state’s permanent mineral trust fund. The higher returns would give us more money to do the day-to-day activities of the city. It would not mean your mayor gets to buy shares in Game Stop but using proven talents to safely invest our reserves in high-paying investments.

We had our usual directors’ staff meeting this week. We had guest speakers from WARM, which is our insurance company made up of cities and towns across the state. We learned the sad news that we need to do a better job of preventing accidents and losses within our departments. The WARM folks gave us ideas of things we should be doing, and we will immediately start to implement them.

I attended a lunch with a prospective new industrial business looking at Cheyenne. They would like to build one of the largest meat packing plants in North America in the Swan Ranch Business Park. It is early in the process, but the $1.1 billion facility would be built to prevent the smells normally attributed with this kind of facility and could provide up to 2,500 jobs. I will keep you updated as the project moves through the process.

I was invited by AARP to talk with a group of their members. I really enjoyed the questions and their interest in our city. I also shared with them the status of the city council goals we made last January, and one of the best treats of all from this meeting was the chocolate cupcakes!

Last but not least, I spent time in a dunk tank on Thursday to raise money for the United Way of Laramie County. I think staff enjoyed throwing balls which resulted in me going for a swim. It was good fun for a great cause. Our public works director was deadly!

Looking forward to the Cowboy game Friday night against the Air Force Falcons. Alf and Miss Sallee will be celebrating the installation of a POW/MIA stadium chair in War Memorial Stadium. I appreciate UW and the athletic department making room for this reminder of those who have not come home yet.

The Wyoming News Reporter had a news caster at the game, The Cowboys came back from a 14-point deficit and won the game.

Despised and Hated, Liz Cheney Still Defying Wyoming Voters With Her Recent Announcement

0

The current outgoing Liz Cheney has proposed a new bill that would prevent President Donald J. Trump from “ever getting another opportunity to steal a presidential election.”

WHAT??

Liz Cheney is delusional, stupid, and the most hated woman in Wyoming. Many do not want Liz Cheney even living in Wyoming due to her socialist radical Democrat stunts. Now Cheney wants to keep President Trump from being re-installed as President.

Don’t forget that on August 16, 2022, Cheney spoke at an America First Agenda Socialist, Democrat Summit held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel. Currently, Liz Cheney wants to alter the history of Congress by altering laws by making it impossible for a sitting Vice President to have any authority and discretion to “reject or approve of official state electoral slates” “Or delay any count and to eliminate any ceremonial role as presiding president officer of the Senate.

Cheney is using her last days in Congress to do as much damage to the country of the United States Of America as she can do in the remaining days as Congress Woman from Wyoming. Liz Cheney is considered by Republicans and Wyoming voters as a threat to the United States and deemed an enemy of the state in social circles. Wyoming voters vomit every time Liz Cheney’s name is mentioned in conversations.

Cheney is attempting to create illegal reforms to the American Electoral Count Act that would prohibit Congress from overturning an election result when Democrats would win any election.

Cheney continues to intentionally false election anti-fraud allegations claiming that no election fraud ever took place in the 2020 Presidential election.

Cheney is afraid that literally hundreds of new candidates that are Republicans, and some Democrats, would try to change the 2020 elections outcome and remove Joe Biden, who did steal the election, from being removed by Congress.

Cheney wants America to embrace the Socialist Democrat Lies and groundless conspiracy theories. Cheney feels that these MAGA-back new congressional members, along with current congressional members, will actually move to tally 2020 Electoral votes that would display to the Country that Joe Biden and the Socialist Democrats did, in fact, steal the 2020 election.

Cheney also wants to make it impossible for Congressional members of Congress to even verbally or in writing object to any electoral slates. This would also include eligibility, such as agreeing to the “New Green Deal” and the Biden “Great Reset”, turning America into an official Socialist country.

The Radical Socialist outgoing, Liz Cheney, has stated that she intends to “preserve the rule of law for all future presidential elections by ensuring that self-interest Republicans cannot steal the elections from the Democrat masses and that this is a guarantee that a Socialist government will derive its power from the content of governed.”

This is called SOCIALISM. This is a prime example, one of the main reasons Americans feel that Liz Cheney is a threat to National Security and an enemy of the state.

Cheney apparently failed her classes in history as an elementary student. America is not a Democracy, it is a Constitutional Republic. And America is not a Socialist country, but a country that is free from oppression.

President Donald J. Trump, Will return to the White House, and there will be HELL to pay for the Socialist Democrats who have deliberately attempted to destroy American Core values and freedoms. 2024 is around the corner and a storm is building.

Bryan Ciccone Charged With Vehicular Homicide As Well As Dui Charge

0

Bryan Ciccone was charged with DUI when he crashed his vehicle on August 22, 2022, over at the intersection of East Lincolnway and Pinion Drive. Bryan Ciccone was westbound and veered off the road and ran into Anthony Gabriel, a pedestrian walking along the shoulder of the road. The incident took place at about 5 p.m.

Anthony Gabriel died on August 28, 2022, due to his injuries from being run over by a drunk driver. Bryan Ciccone posted a 10,000 bond and was out on this bail for the original DUI charge. Now since a vehicular homicide has resulted due to the death of Gabriel, Ciccone will face vehicular homicide charges as well as the DUI charge.

Bid Deal….I have Nothing To Hide!

Written by Marc Kelley
Regardless of your political point of view, the latest move by the Biden Administration to control your ability to purchase goods, should be a wakeup call to all Americans. In a move, coordinated by the White House, the largest banks in America, have sided with the “New Liberal World Order”, and will begin to monitor your credit card use for what they call, “suspicious activity.” A host of financial magazines including: Fortune and BusinessWeek identified this latest move by the liberal gun grabbers to criminalize the lawful ownership of firearms and ammunition, as a whole new ballgame.
In a move which has been in the works since shortly after January 6, 2020, America’s fifteen largest banks banks which include : Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, and U.S. Bank have all agreed to follow the guidance, put forth by the International Organization for Standardization (based in Switzerland) for identifying credit card transactions. Effective immediately any merchant who accepts credit cards and offers firearms or ammunition for sale in their store, will be flagged with a unique merchant category code. This code will allow the government, including the IRS with their 86 thousand new agents, the ability to track an individual’s credit card purchases and establish a database of those purchases. This move is the result of the Biden Administrations attack on what they view as an extremist movement they call, “Ultra MAGA” a label which encompasses any and all who did not vote for Biden or would dare to speak out in opposition to his failing policies which are decimating the American family.
During the pandemic, many voices were silenced through the collaboration between the mainstream media, big tech, and a complicit healthcare system. However, silencing voices was not the only nefarious activity used to gaslight the American people. Just as many voices were silenced, other voices were amplified and used to create a narrative of support for what had become” the official truth.” Hereto, there is an abundance of culpability, but none more harmful to our country than the damage done to our children as a result of the influence, corruption, and graft of the teachers unions.
Academia has long been a vehicle used by the Marxist movement to bring about social and economic change throughout the world. Marxist ideology holds: for meaningful change to occur, it must begin with the children. If a system, i.e. Capitalism cannot be changed externally, It must be changed internally, and that change must begin with the children. It is this belief, more than any other, which has brought us to the days in which we are now living. Our children are failing, test scores are dropping, and school attendance has fallen to an all time low in our largest cities.
Now, before you begin to think, I have had a stroke, or have simply become confused by the happenings of 2022, let me explain the connection between the teachers unions and the latest assault on the 2nd Amendment. As you delve into how this sweeping banking practice actually came about, you will learn Biden was led by a troika of politically motivated players. Letters were sent to the White House by State Officials from both New York and California and, be still my beating heart, the NEA (National Education Association) and NFT (National Federation of Teachers) unions, demanding Biden push the American banking system to adopt the new International Organization for Standardization’s merchant classification, assigning a unique four digit merchant code, for anyone dealing in firearms, ammunition, gun parts, or gunsmithing. In the text of each of the letters was the assertion, Biden must act for the greater good, as a global leader fulfilling his “moral obligation to save lives, cut short by gun violence.”
When you add this new banking requirement to the fact, six states currently require purchasers to complete a background check to buy ammunition (which must be done in person) you will see the first objective of this new classification is the elimination of online sales, in turn limiting the consumers access to ammunition and other gun related items. In a statement released by the NRA, Lars Dalseide, spokesman for Institute for Legislative Action called Biden’s latest embrace of the radical left politicians of New York, California, and the teachers unions, a “travesty.” Dalseide went on to assert, “this decision chills the free exercise of a constitutionally protected right, yet does nothing to assist law enforcement with crime prevention or to hold criminals accountable. Through this action the gun control lobby has proven, it is interested in nothing more than disarming lawful gun owners.”
The assignment of a special merchant code for firearms, ammunition, and firearm services, implies these purchases are suspicious by nature, thus infringing upon the Right to Keep and Bear Arms as guaranteed by the 2nd Amendment. Implementing this new classification of merchant code while granting the government access to that data, is tantamount to creating a national gun registry. Any individual who interpret this move as something other than the creation of a national gun registry, illustrates a profound naiveté and is assigning trust to individuals who have time and time again, been found to be untrustworthy.
The next time someone explains to you gun laws don’t effect them, because they have nothing to hide and therefore are not a target, remind them of these cold hard facts. They have already been identified, a target placed on their back, and the consequences for their ambivalence have now come looking for a return on their investment.
