FBI suddenly became weaponized?

0

“Armies of MAGA supporters who had never previously been engaged in politics are only now beginning to fathom the depths of corruption in the bowels of the (In)Justice Department. Cries of ‘banana republic,’ ‘Stasi,’ and ‘Gestapo’ flooded conservative social media channels on Monday night. But a weaponized goon squad of armed and unaccountable Feds Behaving Incorrigibly is nothing new,” wrote Michelle Malkin after the raid of Donald Trump’s mansion, Mar-a-Lago, last week by the FBI.

Indeed, the bloviators in Conservative, Inc. media have been up in arms with this sudden weaponization of the FBI.

Forgive me, but I don’t think the sudden worrying about the FBI’s violation of civil rights by Conservative, Inc. has anything to do with principles. If it did, they would understand that the FBI was weaponized from the start.

I wrote earlier this week for Wyoming News that the new armed IRS agents is evidence that the government is at war with the people. It is evidenced by the very existence of the IRS. The same goes for the FBI, an unconstitutional agency that has been violating Americans’ rights since its inception.

For most of America’s history, the FBI did not exist and those devoted to liberty vehemently opposed creations of such federal law enforcement agencies.

“Thanks to the enduring view that federal police would tip the balance too far in favor of the federal government, many Americans opposed federal agencies like the FBI throughout the nineteenth century,” wrote Ryan McMaken in 2016 for the Mises Institute. “It was feared that federal police would turn into secret police forces such as those known to be used in imperial Russia. Certainly, the Constitution does not mandate any federal police force. Consequently, it was not until the twentieth century that federal agencies like the FBI gained traction, thanks to a rising tide of pro-federal sentiment brought on by war and hysterical fear of ‘anarchists.’”

Ron Paul, as the Libertarian presidential candidate in 1988, how Woodrow Wilson used the FBI to spy and arrest Americans who opposed his foreign policy. And the FBI has been used by Democrat and Republican alike.

“Isn’t it interesting how recently they used it in the Vietnam era? Democrats used it then. And Republicans used the FBI to spy on 100 different groups in this country, including the churches, who disagree with the policy in Central America,” Paul said. “It almost looks like the FBI was designed to spy on Americans who disagreed with policy, especially foreign policy.”

In 1976, the U.S. Senate issued a report (https://www.intelligence.senate.gov/sites/default/files/94755_II.pdf) detailing the secretive and covert actions used by the FBI to destroy innocent Americans. It stated:

“Unsavory and vicious tactics have been employed – including anonymous attempts to break up marriages, disrupt meetings, ostracize persons from their professions, and provoke target groups into rivalries that might result in deaths. Intelligence agencies have served the political and personal objectives of presidents and other high officials. While the agencies often committed excesses in response to pressure from high officials in the Executive branch and Congress, they also occasionally initiated improper activities and then concealed them from officials whom they had a duty to inform.”

So, for those of you suddenly outraged by the FBI, did you care about all the Americans killed by this murderous agency? How about those, like Frank Sinatra and Martin Luther King, Jr., who were illegally spied on, or had their lives ruined?

Does Conservative, Inc. know about the 1973 siege at Wounded Knee in which the FBI murdered two Native Americans? How about Vicki Weaver who was killed by an FBI sniper with her child in her arms at Ruby Ridge in 1992?

Then there’s Waco, Texas in 1993 when the FBI massacred 76 people, including 28 children,

In 2014 and 2016, the FBI targeted ranchers who were fighting for their God-given grazing rights at the Bundy Ranch and Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. That included the murder by the FBI of LaVoy Finicum who was shot in the back on Jan. 26, 2016 which was caught on video (

). Kate Dalley wrote an open letter to the FBI:

“The FBI had clearly set this up in advance with stops prepared and dozens of agents ready to end the protest because four weeks of a land rights issues protest was all the patience they could muster. The protesters had left the ranch many times before and on this day we’re headed for a meeting to inform ranchers of their rights. You knew that. You stopped the two cars and started shooting at LaVoy’s truck full of passengers- unprovoked. They never brandished a weapon against you.”

Have we forgotten how the FBI destroyed the life of the hero of the 1996 Olympic bombing, Richard Jewell? Did you know that FBI agents covered up for Larry Nassar, the USA Gymnastics coach who raped children?

“Now – suddenly – ‘conservative’ people who support Donald Trump are up in arms about a regime that appears to be disinterested in properly affording people the ‘protections’ against government promised by the US Constitution?” wrote Gardner Goldsmith.

Yes, suddenly Conservative, Inc. is upset with government abuse. Take Mark Levin who said: “This is the worst attack on this republic in modern history. Period.”

Really, Mark? Really? How about when Trump himself raided all of our personal liberties on Friday, March 13 of 2020 with an unconstitutional and immoral declaration of a state of emergency that locked us down over a damn cold virus?

I don’t remember Levin bitching about that. Nor did he care when Trump was the first president to ever use an executive order to ban a gun accessory, bump stocks, in 2018. Or, when Trump said “take the guns first, go through due process second” in support of “red flag” gun grabs. By the way, Trump would have to use FBI to raid innocent American homes to take those guns first.

David Knight said on his show yesterday:

“Trump and his people… don’t care about the little guys, the people that were there on January the 6th. They don’t care about that. They don’t care about the people who have their homes broken into, innocent people being shot with these no-knock raids. Have you ever heard Donald ever talk about stopping these no-knock raids? No, never.”

“They don’t talk about search warrants when it comes to you and me. They don’t care about no-knock raids. They don’t care about a police state. As a matter of fact, before all of this stuff happened, Trump was talking about how he could escalate all this stuff. ‘We need more cops. We need to take away all restraints, all punishments for wrongdoing by the police.’ And now that it’s happened to him, ‘Oh, well, look at my tape of what happened to me.’ If you don’t stand for other people’s freedom, you won’t have it yourself.”

Let me make it clear, I do not support the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago. But that’s because I don’t support any actions by an unconstitutional agency. However, I don’t have much sympathy for a man who locked all of us down and has never shown an ounce of care for the FBI violating anyone else’s rights.

There will never be any institutional reform if you only care about political theater, and that’s what the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago was. To be honest, I think Trump loves the fact his mansion was raided because it helps him politically. Nothing is as it seems from the mainstream media, whether it’s the leftwing media or Conservative, Inc.

Gary Barnett wrote:

“Every president in my opinion, should be imprisoned for crimes against humanity before or after leaving office, and I would applaud any action of that nature, but this is just another dividing plot. And of course, it has been swallowed hook, line, and sinker by what is referred to as the ‘right.’ But it has also been accepted as legitimate by nearly all the alternative media as well, including most all those claiming to be ‘libertarian.’ Whoever designed this coup, knew exactly what they were doing, and nearly the entirety of the ‘conservative’ and feigned ‘libertarian’ crowd have taken the bait.”

“This could be happening for any number of reasons, including to alter the upcoming idiot elections, to strengthen or destroy Trump and his brainless crowd of followers, it could be to purposely cause civil unrest among the natives, or it could be for other reasons. One thing is for sure, it is bizarre, and lacks credibility. Even Trump’s response seems to be self-promoting and fake, but who really knows?”

“My approach to life and especially ‘news’ is to believe nothing, trust nothing, and question everything. This weird set of events lately solidly confirms my position, and in the best interest of intelligence and sanity, I will take this ‘news’ event with a grain of salt, and not spend any of my energy buying into or considering another state narrative filled with holes. Of course, I never do. I consider this only as fraud and deceit, and most likely a scam that could have been initiated by either side or both.”

“Think before you jump, as in most every case, the cliff of nefarious lies is much higher than expected, and gullibility leads only to madness.”

Trump Raid? What the Hell Is Wrong with this Picture?

Spy Blimp Pops Up in Arizona with No Warning from the Feds

Without consulting the local residents of Nogales, Arizona, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) unleashed a spy in the sky that serves as a reminder of how much of a Big Brother society America has become.

The tethered balloon called the aerostat, which resembles a blimp, was unleashed on the Nogales community on June 20. It takes video surveillance day and night, 24-hours a day and seven days a week.

And, the CBP didn’t even bother to make the public aware of the spy apparatus.

The blimp “has nothing to do with the city at all. In fact, we weren’t aware that they were going to put it up,” said Edward Dickie, Nogales’ city manager, according to Reason Magazine.

“I don’t know what they’re surveilling,” said resident Rafael Lopez who lives about a half a mile away from the blimp. “I don’t know what type of instruments they have on there and what they can see.”

The blimp is staged a mile north of the U.S.-Mexico border, according to Tucson ABC affiliate KGUN 9, but it is less than a quarter mile away from American residential neighborhoods.

Aerostats have been used near the border since 2013 with 11 currently in use, most of which are in Texas. The CBP is planning to ramp up the use of the aerostats in coming years.

The surveillance equipment raise privacy concerns, among other concerns, for Santa Cruz County Sheriff David Hathaway.

“It just appeared one day out of my window of the Sheriff’s Office,” Hathaway said. “It was a total surprise, this—what I call the ‘spy blimp.’ I worry about the implications of the loss of privacy, like looking into residential communities and spying on what we’re doing.”

In response, the CBP basically said just trust them that they aren’t spying on Americans.

“I absolutely appreciate that,” John Modlin, the Tucson sector’s chief CBP patrol agent, said of the privacy concerns. “The reality is that that aerostat and its view is built to look into the border region. That’s what we’re watching. We’re watching the border region. We’re not interested in what’s going on in someone’s yard in the Nogales area or what someone’s doing.”

Funny, if the CBP wasn’t interested in spying on local Americans in Nogales, wouldn’t one think it would be a wise idea to consult with them first before setting up the spy apparatus?

The CBP is giving vague answers to what they’re spying on. Hathaway said it’s evidence of militarizing the border with no transparency of oversight over the CBP.

“As an American, I think we have that fundamental right to be private and secure in our private lives,” Hathaway said. “And this is just another ‘Big Brother’ intrusion into our lives… I’m offended by it personally. I think it’s disgusting. And I hope the community doesn’t get used to it and just think it’s one more fixture of the growing police state along the border.”

Hathaway added: “I think it’s evidence of a kind of growing police state along the border. It just seems weird and dystopian to have that kind of surveillance platform right in the middle of the city.”

This is just one of the many reminders that the government is constantly spying on us, and Hathaway is no stranger to exposing such violations on the liberty of Americans.

Hathaway is a rare breed in politics, someone who actually believes in the Constitution. After being elected in the 2020 election, Hathaway said his job is “preserving people’s freedoms…. I don’t want to run anybody’s life.”

Last year, Hathaway took on Arizona’s Republican Gov. Doug Ducey after he signed a disgraceful executive order in October, 2021 to setup a radical tracking system that everybody who submits to the COVID jab must pass their personal information to the state and the federal government.

“This hypocrite Republican governor who speaks out of both sides of his mouth, he goes around touting the vaccines on how they’re ‘safe and effective and everyone should get vaccinate,’ but then he tries to play the other side like where ‘I’m opposed to vaccine mandates,’” Hathaway said.

Hathaway added: “Here’s a Republican governor, a hypocrite, requiring that every 24 hours all this personally identifiable information, with no ability to opt out, be shared with CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and HHS (Department of Health and Human Services).”
