The following DUI Check Points Will Be in Effect This Weekend

The Los Angeles Police Department will be Conducting DUI Checkpoints

and DUI Saturation Patrol in the below listed areas.  Use caution !!

Friday, April 1

DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Avalon Boulevard and 51st Street

DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Florence Avenue and Central Avenue

Saturday, April 2

DUI Saturation Patrol from 12 PM to 8 PM in Harbor Area

DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Van Nuys Boulevard and Chase Street

Sunday, April 3

DUI Saturation Patrol from 3 PM to 11 PM in North Hollywood Area

DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Manchester Avenue and Main Street

Monday, April 4

DUI Checkpoint from 6 PM to 11 PM at Western Avenue and Venice Boulevard

Note: Locations of the checkpoints are subject to change or cancelation.

Checkpoint locations are chosen based on a history of DUI crashes and arrests. The primary purpose of checkpoints is not to make arrests, but to promote public safety by deterring drivers from driving impaired. During the checkpoint, officers will look for signs that drivers are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
