Helena Montana Police Department News

@0124 Officers responded to the 400 block of Euclid Avenue for a robbery.  A male entered the store with a firearm and demanded money from the employee.  The male left the store with the undisclosed property.  This case is still active. 

@0358 Officers responded to the 700 block of N Jackson Street for a mental health call.  

@0837 An officer responded to the 500 block of N Rodney Street about a stolen vehicle.  At some time during the night, the victim’s vehicle was stolen.  It has not been located and there are no suspects.    

@0937 An officer responded to the 600 block of N Last Chance Gulch regarding a mental health crisis.  An adult female was placed in protective custody and transported to the hospital. 

@1344 Officers responded to the 300 block Euclid Ave in regards to a suspicious male.  Officers contacted the male and learned he had a warrant for his arrest.  The male was arrested.   

@1441 An officer responded to the 2820 block of Prospect Avenue in reference to a disorderly male.  Officers learned the male had a warrant for his arrest.  The male was arrested.      

@1715 Officers responded to the intersection of 11th Avenue and Fee Street for a disorderly male.  The male was subsequently placed in protective custody and transported to the hospital.   

@2128 An officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Fee Street for an equipment violation.  After the investigation, the passenger of the vehicle was arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drugs (F), Possession with Intent to Distribute (F) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M).       

@2158  An responded to the 2500 block of South Ridge Drive about a family disturbance.  It was determined that nothing criminal occurred and was only a verbal argument. 

The Helena Police Department responded to 85 calls for service.  A summary of some of the calls the Officers responded to are as follows:  18 animal-related calls, 0 motor vehicle crashes,  6 Disorderly/Disturbance calls, five suspicious incidents, five thefts,  trespass, and conducted four welfare checks.
