Arrests of Suspects in 2021 Wilmington Murder of a 12-year-old boy 

Law and Order sometime takes a while to serve Justice, but in the end Law and Order does Prevail in a civilized society.

Los Angeles: On December 6, 2021, around 4:45 p.m., the suspects were in the area of Denni Street and Blinn Avenue, opened fire on a black Dodge Durango, killing the front passenger, 12- year-old Alexander Alvarado. The driver of the Dodge Durango, as well as 9-year old girl who was at the Wilmington Park Elementary School were also shot and injured.

The U.S Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations, Los Angeles Police Department’s Harbor Divisions Gang Impact Team, and South Bureau Homicide Division, coordinated the investigation and arrests. 

On September 27, 2022, 21-year-old Damian Ulysses Martinez and 19-year-old Gabriel Martinez, both residents from Wilmington, CA., were arrested and booked for 187 (a) PC-Murder.  Damian Ulysses Martinez, Booking No. 6472199  Gabriel Martinez, Booking No. 6472337 

The case was presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
