0225hrs, officers were dispatched to the 2900 Block of Sanders for a theft. Under investigation.
0743hrs, officers were dispatched to the 900 Block of Wolf for criminal mischief. No suspects or leads.
1130hrs, officers were dispatched to the 800 Block of Expedition Trail for criminal mischief. No suspects or leads.
2044hrs, officers were dispatched to the 3300 Block of Tricia for a theft. No suspects or leads.
2100hrs, officers were conducting a routine patrol in the area of the 2700 block of Prospect. Officers contacted a female driving a vehicle connected to an unsolved burglary. Officers noted drug paraphernalia in plain view and got the woman’s probation officer. Searching the car, found a stolen firearm, drugs, drug paraphernalia, cash, and multiple cell phones. The woman was arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drugs (Felony), Possession with intent to distribute (Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Theft (by possession of stolen property), and Driving while suspended. She was taken to the LCSO jail without issue, and probation and parole also placed a hold on her.
2226hrs, officers were notified of a traffic complaint near the area of Custer and Sanders. Officers later found the vehicle in question, and the investigation led to a 62-year-old male being arrested for felony Driving Under the Influence (4th or subsequent offense). He was taken to the LCSO jail without issue.
2222hs, officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of Washington for disorderly conduct. An investigation led to two adult women being cited and released for disorderly conduct.
The Helena Police Department responded to 69 calls for service. Of those calls, they responded to 3 Crash, 2 Animal calls, two disorderly/disturbance calls, 8 Suspicious Circumstance calls, 2 Theft calls, 5 Trespassing Complaints, eight welfare checks, and conducted ten traffic stops.

Fatal Vehicle Crash Involving Juveniles Occurs on East Lincolnway CHEYENNE, Wy — Sunday, September 4, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Cheyenne Police Officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle accident with injuries, resulting in one fatality. The crash occurred at McDonald’s, located at 2535 East Lincolnway.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found the driver, a 16-year-old male from Cheyenne, deceased. Three other juvenile passengers also sustained serious injuries and were transported by ambulance to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Due to the severity of the crash, the Cheyenne Police Department’s Major Crash Unit responded to take over the investigation. Preliminary details show a Ford Taurus, driven by the male, was traveling east on Lincolnway at a high rate of speed and attempted to cross lanes. The driver then lost control of the vehicle and entered the McDonald’s parking lot, striking a curb and rolling the car.
The crash ended as the Taurus landed on a handicapped parking pillar. The driver was ejected during the incident. Police are still working to determine the factors that led up to the crash. This case remains under investigation by the Cheyenne Police Department.
So far, information as to the charges of what the Trooper Sgt. Gabriel Testerman is accused of not being released to the media. Multiple Media have requested information as to what the Trooper is charged with.

Wyoming WHP and Laramie County Sheriff Department, including Colorado LEO’s, are looking for a suspect from Greeley, Colorado, by the name of Rodrigo Vigner Turcios-Romero, who shot and killed a man in Laramie County this afternoon.
According to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office, Deputies were called out for an active assault with a gun on County Road 161 and about the 300 blocks at about 1:58 p.m. Once deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a 37-year-old male victim shot.
The victim was taken to the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where the 37-year-old male victim died of his injury. According to Law Enforcement, the suspect is believed to be headed to Colorado.
A Laramie Wyoming man was arrested and charged with Domestic Battery, DUI, and Child Abuse. The Laramie Police department was called to the 1300 block of 17th South Street for a domestic disturbance that happened on Sunday, August 28th, 2022 at 4:15 in the morning.
No further information is available at this time regarding the arrest.
