Former President Trump is now actively campaigning against Cheney, as he has gone after the 10 House Republicans who joined Democrats in voting to impeach him over the insurrection — the only President to be twice impeached.


The former President recently arrived in Wyoming, filling the Casper event center to rally in support of Harriet Hageman, the fiery attorney and state party leader challenging Cheney.

“The people of Wyoming are going to vote dump this woman, Liz Cheney,” Trump predicted.
This is just another obstacle Cheney has to face in her reelection campaign. It will be interesting to see how she responds in the coming weeks and if she can maintain her seat in the House of Representatives.

It can be tough to see how the state will continue to back her as she faces such
incredible pressure. Trump is now calling her a backstabber and a Republican in name only. Hageman has even suggested that the state is “Fed up” with Liz Cheney.


Cheney has gone on the offensive, mailing out leaflets to Democratic voters and creating new television spots set to release this week. With her constantly showing up at the hearing, it can be challenging for America to avoid her presence at this time, and her approval rating is plummeting.


Strategists believe Cheney’s reelection is feasible by building a bipartisan coalition of moderate Republicans and crossover Democrats eligible to participate in the GOP primary after the state government defied Trump’s call to tighten voter identification standards. Wyoming News speaking to sources close to the Cheney camp has verified that indeed Liz Cheney is worried she will lose and eventually be prosecuted by Congress.

Trump calls Liz Cheney “despicable” for declining to rule out a presidential bid.
Liz Cheney has been inescapable lately through the media and her statements. In an interview, Cheney stated that “a man as dangerous as Donald Trump can never be near the Oval Office again.”


The president’s daughter-in-law said it was the right time for her to leave the White House, so she did.


It would appear that this was in response to a question about whether she would rule out mounting a presidential bid.

Also, during the interview, Trump stated, “I suppose that there’s a fake unselect committee on which Cheney sits and how it may recommend that the Department of Justice bring criminal charges against him.”

It is evident that Cheney’s remarks have offended not just President Trump but also many people. She has not ruled out the possibility of running for president in the future. It would appear that Cheney is already planning her next move as she is aware that her political career is over in the state of Wyoming.

Many people have criticized Cheney for her remarks about Trump. They believe that she is only looking to further her own career and is using Trump as a stepping stone. Some have even called for her to be removed from her position as vice-chair of the House Republican Conference. Only time will tell what Cheney’s next move will be.


With the election happening in August, Cheney is facing a difficult time with her reelection.
Trump has openly endorsed her competitor, and Cheney has a massively low approval rating in the state of Wyoming for her stupid decision to carry out the Jan 6th cirrus.

As of now, it looks like Cheney’s days in office may be numbered.

Trump is also in a position to make decisions regarding his future presidency. As a figure still very in control of the Republican party, he is expected to announce his bid for 2024.

Cheney has not yet committed to running in 2024, but if she does, it is expected she will have to change hearts and minds through her future broadcasts and with the televised trial. She will be releasing new ads in the coming weeks and she suggested that she will have some announcements regarding 2024 somewhere down the road.


If invited, she could find herself face to face with Trump on a debate stage. Many expect that former President Trump will announce his re-election campaign soon, perhaps even this month. He is eager to get back on the campaign trail and continue to hold rallies across the country.

It is interesting news to see that she is considering a presidency in her position of likely losing Wyoming in the coming months. It is unclear what Cheney’s future holds, but one thing is for sure, she will have to go through Trump if she wants to win in 2024. Either way Cheney is the most hated woman in Wyoming and is unsafe, politically speaking, in Wyoming.

During his tour of Wyoming, Trump spent time at a rally speaking about Liz Cheney. He suggested she was just as bad as the Bidens, Obamas, Clintons, and Bushes and urged voters to get her out of office.


To quote his celebrity apprentice phrase, he used the words “You’re Fired.”

He continually called Cheney “Pelosi’s lapdog” and “A Human soundbite for CNN.” He called out Wyoming voters for thinking they elected a conservative warrior only to end up with a liberal.

The three-term congresswoman is facing an uphill battle for reelection in a state that overwhelmingly supported Trump in the 2020 election. According to Trump, “Liz Cheney is about America Last.”

Trump accused her of putting her image first and her reelection before the country. He would go on to flash her image cut with a photo of George W. Bush.

Trump would go on to speak for over an hour explaining why Rhinos are such a poor thing to have in the party and ultimately worse than the democrats for progress.

Trump also introduced Boebert, a first-term congresswoman from Colorado, during his speech. Boebert also shared the story of her restaurant, Shooter’s Grill, a steakhouse in Rifle, Colorado, which is the “safest” restaurant in the United States because waitresses can openly carry their weapons.

“I am a professional RINO hunter. It was brought to my attention that your RINO-In-Chief needs to be taken out of Wyoming,” she said at the rally. She would also go on to endorse Hageman alongside Trump at the rally.

Approval ratings for Hageman have been favorable across the state.
Jan 6:
Trump urged the country to ignore the press regarding Jan 6 and the current televised trials that Cheney has been orchestrating. He suggested that he has been investigated more than any known mobster in the states, including Al Capone. According to his statements, the insurrection was greatly overexaggerated, and the trial was a con job.



Cheney, who had previously condemned the White House’s failure to investigate, listen or acknowledge the attack on Congress properly, faced harsh consequences from the GOP after she voted for Trump’s impeachment and served on the January 6 special committee investigating the Capitol assault.

She was censured by the Wyoming GOP and the Republican National Committee for her actions losing massive favor with the voters in Wyoming and her own party.

This removal is virtually unprecedented and is something that is being observed by both parties as the 2022 elections rapidly approach.


Trusting a politician who does not stand with her party can be difficult. However, people in Wyoming are standing firmly with Hageman because she was endorsed by the former President, a steadfast ally of the Republican party.

With a strong economy and low unemployment, it is expected that the Republican party will have a successful 2022 election. Liz Cheney’s ousting could be the first of many to come as the party cleans house.

Liz Cheney is finding herself in a tough spot for her August re-election. Not only does she have to worry about a strong challenge from Harriet Hageman, but she also has to manage with the fact that former President Donald Trump is backing her opponent.


Cheney, who was one of ten Republicans voting to impeach the previous president, has publicly battled with Trump and is a vice-chair of the House Select Committee on the U.S. Capitol Riot.

Now, she is seeking a fourth term in office. Cheney will soon release her first TV spot, just a week after Trump headlined an event for Hageman. But America has been seeing Cheney in the regular news cycles thanks to the Jan 6 televised hearings.

Trump has been critical of Cheney, saying she is “backstabbing” him. It will take some time to see whether that criticism will have an effect on the race, but it is clear that Cheney is in for a tough fight.

Trump is still very much in the driver’s seat for the republican party. Based on projections in Texas North Carolina and Pennsylvania, all the candidates that Trump has backed have seen the best approval ratings in the states. Georgia remains the only state his endorsement has not worked.

A strong statement from Trump:
During a press conference, last Saturday Trump would suggest that “Few members of Congress in history have personally caused more damage and destruction to our Republican Party,”.

The former president also criticized Cheney for her handling of the 2020 election and her reaching out to democratic voters in the wake of the Jan 6 hearings. Her stance to impeach a president as well as reopen a trial on the insurrection has made her a controversial character.

There is no doubt that her actions have weakened the party. Her consistent playing of both sides does not create a unified front and will continue to hinder the party’s progress if she is not unseated.

She has gone on to suggest that there is a “cult of personality around Donald Trump.” Ignoring the fact that she has betrayed her party and the ideas that it stands for. Examining a leader to ensure the strength of your party is crucial, but openly criticizing the main influence of your political party does not show a strong front.

The most hated woman in Wyoming, Cheney not safe in Wyoming politically.
Liz Cheney is getting desperate regarding her reflection on Aug 16. So the Wyoming Republican is mailing instructions to Democrats on how they can vote for her in the state’s upcoming primary.

The contents of the absentee application are included, as well as for instructions on how to apply for an absentee ballot and when people may obtain and return them.

Cheney hopes that Democrats will come to her rescue and save her from being ousted from office. However, when her representative was asked to comment on Cheney’s recent change in heart, they had no comment. Instead, a blanket statement was issued suggesting Cheney was here to represent all the people of Wyoming.


Many Republicans are disappointed in Cheney, including former President Donald Trump. As a result, some are reaching out to voters to suggest that she should be removed from office.

Poor approval ratings:
Only 26% of Republican primary voters have a favorable impression of Cheney, with 73% having an unfavorable one. However, the same poll also found that Harriet Hageman, who Trump backs, leads Cheney in the state’s upcoming primary election (56 percent to 28%), according to political scientist David Norcross.


Following her decision to impeach Donald Trump last year, Cheney has been on a continual effort to align herself with democrats.
Many believe that her recent actions are just a ploy to save her skin and that she does not care about the people she is supposed to represent. Only time will tell if her efforts will be successful.

Either way, she has certainly lost the support of many Republicans.

As we come together to celebrate the 4th of July, gather with friends and family, watch fireworks, and enjoy the great outdoors, let us keep the brave military who continue to protect and defend the freedoms we hold so dearly in the forefront of our minds. Let us also honor and remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our nation allowing us to live freely. We are forever grateful for those willing to serve and protect our great country.

This Independence Day, let us re-devote ourselves to the ideals upon which our nation was founded while celebrating the freedom we are so blessed to enjoy. The Montana Republican Party will continue to work to preserve life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for Montana’s future generations.

Billionaire climate elites have their own rules


 
Progressives have long wanted to tax unrealized gains from billionaires’ stocks, bonds, land holdings, homes, artwork, cars, yachts, and other property. As appealing as this sounds, the scheme would be vastly complicated and unworkable. In the absence of sales, who would evaluate current values – and how?
 
But the frustrations we “commoners” have with the ultra-rich are understandable – especially when they lecture us about eating less “climate-altering” beef, avoiding $5.00 gasoline by buying $60,000 electric vehicles and bankrolling “experts” who say we should live in 650-square-foot apartments.
 
So it’s entertaining when some of those billionaires start arguing about who is more saintly (and sanctimonious) when it comes to preventing the alleged Climate Crisis.
 
Elon Musk and Bill Gates have been quibbling about which of them cares more about climate change. Musk recently refused a “philanthropic opportunity” with Gates because the Microsoft co-founder still has a half-billion-dollar “short position against Tesla,” which Musk says is “the company doing the most to solve climate change.” Gates says he gives more to climate causes than anyone else, including Musk.
 
However, as happens too often with elites who promote climate activist agendas, when it comes to ensuring human and planetary health, they both ignore evidence, the big picture – and their own lifestyles, including private jets and multiple mansions. They’re not alone.
 
After spending eight years attacking fossil fuels, former-President Obama installed a 2,500-gallon propane system at his 6,900-square-foot Martha’s Vineyard home, which is apparently safe from rising seas that endanger other coastal properties (resulting from propane, oil, and natural gas emissions).
 
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos led an entourage of 400 luminaries, dignitaries, and “green” CEOs flying private jets to the 2021 COP-26 climate confab in Glasgow. Two years earlier, currency manipulator George Soros and 1,500 other “global leaders” hopped their private jets to the World Economic Forum in Davos, once again to focus attention on “sustainability” and “dangerous global warming.” As climate czar John Kerry explained, private jets are “the only choice” for someone as important as he is.
 
Not to be outdone, Leonardo DiCaprio flew a private jet to New York City in 2016 to accept an environmental award, then flew it back to France a day later. “Climate change is real!” he intoned.
 
Of course, it’s real. It’s been “real” throughout Earth’s history, and there is no Real World Evidence to support assertions that manmade greenhouse gases have replaced the powerful natural forces that drove past climate fluctuations, or that fossil fuel emissions are now causing dangerous warming and weather.
 
Computer models are not evidence, and their predictions generally conflict with actual world events. Why should we disrupt our energy, economy, and living standards because models claim there’s a crisis? Yet models are always the last refuge for the false prophets of climate Armageddon.
 
In reality, far more people die in cold weather than in hot spells, and a slightly warmer planet would be quite beneficial for both humanity and the plant and animal kingdoms.
 
There is simply no credible evidence that today’s climate fluctuations and weather events are due to fossil fuels, instead of the same natural forces that have operated throughout Earth’s history. Tornado records show fewer violent twisters from 1950-1985 than during the 36 years since. Not a single Category 3-5 hurricane made U.S. landfall for a record 12 years (2005-2012).
 
Three especially “brutal” droughts during a 200-year dry spell caused the Mayan civilization to collapse by 930 AD. Multiple droughts struck the Chaco Canyon (Four Corners) region from 1130-1450, helping to end the Anasazi civilization. Extreme dry conditions contributed to the decline of the ancient South Arabian kingdom of Himyar, causing political unrest and war, and fostering the spread of Islam. The Pleistocene glacial epochs and Little Ice Age brought “frozen droughts” to Europe, Asia, and North America.
 
Even worse than the fake science and endless fear-mongering, their proposed remedies to the Climate Crisis would be far more harmful to people and the planet than the warming and whether they worry about it.
 
Replacing fossil-fuel (and nuclear) electricity generation would mean blanketing the planet with millions of wind turbines, billions of solar panels, billions of backup battery modules, thousands of mines to produce the raw materials for these technologies (mostly Chinese-operated), and hundreds of landfills for worn-out, 300-foot-long wind turbine blades and other dilapidated “green energy” equipment. (Thankfully the United States has a huge, thus far unused landfill: Arizona’s Grand Canyon.)
 
The ease with which billionaire climate club members do business with China also conflicts with generally accepted standards of environmental and human rights ethics.
 
Musk is quite cozy with the Chinese Communist regime. From taking billions in regime-funded loans, to speaking at their embassy, to building a factory in Xinjiang amid the Uyghur genocide, he is surprisingly comfortable working with a state founded on ideologies of totalitarian hatred and abuse. 
 
Gates stretched the limits of U.S. security laws to help China build nuclear reactors suitable for powering naval vessels, even as China continues making strategic long-term moves to control ever-larger swaths of the Pacific and surpass U.S. naval power in this critical region.
 
Incredibly, but understandably, these billionaires almost never) criticize Xi Jinping’s regime. In fact, Musk has met with communist officials on multiple occasions and frequently says China “rocks” – even though it is by far the world’s biggest emitter of plant fertilizing carbon dioxide (CO2) and toxic pollutants.
 
In fact, in 2019 China’s greenhouse gas emissions were nearly 2.5 times those of the United States – and more than all the world’s developed nations combined. In CO2 equivalent, China emitted 14.1 billion metric tons that year – more than a quarter of the entire world’s emissions.
 
Musk even stopped serving on President Trump’s advisory panels, to protest Mr. Trump’s decision to withdraw from the meaningless Paris climate agreement that’s actually a treaty.
 
So why are Musk and Gates so quick to criticize America – but never reprimand the People’s Republic? They clearly don’t live by the environmental principles they preach and won’t even criticize the world’s worst greenhouse gas emitter, toxic chemicals polluter, and child and slave labor practitioner.
 
Still worse, the policies they promote would harm global public health. As Congressman John Curtis (R-Utah), founder of the Conservative Climate Caucus, recently noted, “killing American fossil fuels just causes them to be replaced by dirtier foreign sources, in particular Chinese and Russian.” Perhaps, Mr. Curtis suggested, we should instead start “attacking carbon emissions, not energy sources, through carbon capture, American innovation, natural solutions, and other paths that boost the American economy while reducing global emissions.”
 
Over the last decade, the U.S. has reduced CO2 emissions more than any other country in the world. Yet, Musk, Gates and fellow jet-setters continue to support policies like the Paris accord, which would impose major restrictions on the U.S. while allowing China to continue increasing emissions through 2030.
 
Perhaps, instead, we should just stop trying to reduce CO2 emissions, since that monumental and costly global effort is driven by demands that we prevent a “manmade climate crisis” that doesn’t actually exist.
 
If these climate activists wish to make a difference in human and environmental health around the world, they need to change their perspective and their relationship with Communist China. They need to begin looking at Real World climate and weather evidence and practicing what they preach.
 
Unfortunately, they’re unwilling to do so. They’d rather make noise (and more billions) than safeguard us commoners’ economy and living standards, or support true productive change in America and abroad.

Rediscover a Love for Liberty this Independence Day

“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

 

That’s the opening paragraph to the Declaration of Independence, the founding document adopted by the Continental Congress and signed by our nation’s founders on the 4th day of July in 1776 which is why we celebrate Independence Day.

 

However, in today’s America such celebrations of independence are in vain in a nation of dependents. Americans went from the “land of the free, home of the brave,” as penned by Francis Scott Key, to land of the entitled, home of the enslaved.

 

Over the last two and a half years, the American people sat idly by as their government called them and their fellow Americans “essential” or “nonessential.” They sat idly by as the government told them what to wear in public and told people to inject themselves with experimental gene therapy drugs.

 

Make no mistake, the lockdown has never been lifted. Not one single bureaucrat or politician has faced justice for their authoritarian crimes against humanity. They remain free to abuse the people every day. And understand, it’s almost every bureaucrat and politician, regardless of party, that has committed crimes against the people.

 

But also remember, the last two-plus years is an extension of the expansion of tyranny that has been going on for over a century. It can be debated, but this journalist marks 1913 as the year the destruction of America began with the creation of the Federal Reserve along with the 16th and 17th amendments to the U.S. Constitution allowing the unlimited power by government to tax Americans and direct election of Senators.

 

From 1913 on, basically every president has overseen an expansion of the size and scope of government, both Democrat and Republican. President Calvin Coolidge (1923-1929) is the only president since 1913 to cut the national debt.

 

We’ve seen the creation and expansion of the welfare state, entitlement state, spy state, Military Industrial Complex and Medical Industrial Complex. The government controls nearly every aspect of our lives from healthcare to education, and everything in between.

 

Paul Harvey, in his 1965 broadcast “Freedom to Chains,” said that we have handed over more and more authority to the government “until the government is all powerful and the individual is hardly anything at all. The government is all powerful and the people are cattle.”

 

And, unlike the early settlers as Harvey notes, the American people chose entitlement and security over liberty.

 

“Well sir, when that early pioneer turned his eyes toward the west, he didn’t demand that somebody else look after him,” Harvey said. “He didn’t demand a free education. He didn’t demand a guaranteed rocking chair at eventide. He didn’t demand that somebody else take care of him if he got ill or got old. There was an old-fashioned philosophy in those days that a man was supposed to provide for his own and for his own future. He didn’t demand a maximum amount of money for a minimum amount of work. Nor did he expect pay for no work at all. Come to think of it, he didn’t demand anything. That hardhanded pioneer just looked out there at the rolling plains stretching away to the tall green mountains and then lifted his eyes to the blue skies and said: ‘Thank you God. Now I can take it from here.’”

 

The only way to honor Independence Day is to rediscover the love for liberty once shared by the American people but has since been lost. That is what inspired the founding fathers. It was “give me liberty or give me death,” as Patrick Henry stated to the Second Virginia Convention in 1775 as his impassioned speech helped convince Virginia to join the cause of liberty in the Revolutionary War.

 

Remember, the founding fathers were almost all extremely wealthy under British rule. They were the 1%. They knowingly gave up their wealth because liberty and independence were more important than money and security. They didn’t look to the government to create a strong economy or regulate the behaviors of others. They wanted liberty.

 

Please read this Independence Day the Declaration of Independence, available (here) at the National Archives. Read the list of grievances, and you’ll see King George III wasn’t half the tyrant our government is today.

 

While it is convenient to blame the government for this, it must be remembered that we the people have allowed this tyranny to take over. And it’s we the people who can put a stop to it if we just rediscover that love for liberty that’s been lost. Do not think for a second that electing any politician or any party is going to save you. It is our responsibility to resist tyranny no matter who the tyrant or ruling party is.

@1139 Officers responded to the area of Jackson Street and Broadway regarding a male with confirmed warrants for his arrest.   Officers located the 60-year-old male and he was subsequently arrested.

The male was booked at the jail.

@1620 Officers responded to the 2700 block of Prospect Ave regarding a female assaulting her child.  The involved parties left prior to Officers arriving on the scene.  Officers are attempting to identify the individuals.  This case is active.   

@1814 An officer responded to the 1200 block of Cedar Street regarding a crash.  One of the drivers had warrants for his arrest.  The male was arrested on the warrants.  The male was booked at the jail. 

@1825 Officers responded to the 2400 block of Broadway Street regarding a family disturbance.  Officers investigated the incident and determined nothing criminal had occurred. 

@1943 Officers responded to the area of 1200 Last Chance Gulch in reference to a disturbance.  At the conclusion of the investigation, a female was arrested for PFMA (1st).  The female was booked at the jail. 

@2039 Officers responded to the 1100 block of State Street in reference to a family disturbance.  At the conclusion of the investigation, a juvenile male was issued a citation for PFMA.   

The Helena Police Department responded to 70calls for service.  A brief summary of some of the calls the Officers responded to are as follows:  7 animal-related calls, 2 crashes,  7 Disorderly/Disturbance calls, 7 suspicious incidents, 4 thefts, 2 trespasses, and conducted 5 welfare checks.
