Wyoming Governor Gordon, Accepts Biden’s Council Of Governors

Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon has accepted the appointment of Joe Biden to the Council of Governors on THursday. Wyoming Gov GOrdon is one of nine appointees.

Every two years, the who-ever is the President appoints new names to fill the Council of Governors.

Biden appointed five Democrats and five Republicans to even out the council. The methodology behind this is to make it look bipartisan.

The Council will be joined by the Homeland Security, Secretary of Defense, Assistant to Homeland Security, Chief of the National Guard Bureau, Coast Guard Commander, The commander of the US Northern Command, Intergovernmental affairs.

The 10 Governors that Biden appointed are as follows:

Wyoming Governor, Mark Gordon (R)

Ohio Governor, Mike Dewine (R)

Tennessee Governor, Bill Lee (R)

Vermont Governor, Phil Scott (R)

Utah Governor, Spencer Cox (R)

Oregon Governor, Kate Brown (D)

Michigan Governor, Gretchen Whitmer (D)

Minnesota Governor, Tim Walz (D)

Delaware Governor, John Carney(D)

Louisiana Governor, John Edwards (D)
